alrightys and this is the Deutsches Eck - german corner. its where the Mosel and Rhein (rivers) join and at the tip u can see a german flag, and along e 2 banks are the flags of the 16 states of germany :) whee. symbol of german unity. dont ask me why they chose this place, i've yet to find out :P there's a bigbig monument there too.

and here's another view from another higher point (the fortress actually) which shows the lovely rivers. i guess since i cant go to the beach here (i dunno how far it actually is but surely a few hundred kilometres away), rivers are e next best :) v pretty scenery too, with some mountains in e distance. :)
