neuschwanstein! :) castle built by a certain ludwig II, incomplete yet inspirational as it is to mr walt disney :) standing where we were that day, you would also be able to understand how he might have felt. it's like you're in a different era, of princes and castles, cos it stands so isolated on rocks, it really feels very real. that aside, munich was lovely, thanks in part to the world cup! :) festive moods everywhere, lots of cheers and beer to go along.
