happy days

had many happy days this week. not happy in the exciting hip happening way but in a quiet subtle way. like peiwen would say, 幸福. she was jus asking me this morning how to say tt in english, and i was a little stumped. not happy cos that can be temperory or jus for the moment, and not lucky cos that's abit more due to chance. anyone has a suggestion?

oh yes, something before i start on my happy days. this is esp to huijun ma'am - i think everyone tries to appear happy on their blogs cos maybe they dont want pple to worry for them? the opposite will be those who are always sad and helpless on their blogs to alert friends tt they really need help, perhaps. plus, many events + many smiles does not always = happiness, so if you think abt it abit, u might not be any less happy than these pple. :)

mmm, so this week was 4 days of work, nothing much to be excited about except for a friendlier atmosphere i guess, cos getting to know pple takes/took time, and now it's abt what i'm quite comfortable with :) my nice boss also prepared a tea session to celebrate my bday with me. all agreed that i'm still so young! maybe one day i'll be sitting in her position and exclaiming how young the interns & colleagues are. ladidums.

much more exciting was friday! went to sch for an enjoyable lesson as usual, and had dinner with the four taiwanese friends, with the only guy cooking! fastastic food, made with lots of effort and accompanied by coke/beer/sherry! :D and lots of chatting, abt mostly still-foreign-to-me topics like looking for work, sending resumes, the industries doing well, how to carve out a career.. and it was then when i realised how nice it is sometimes to have stuff decided for u. sometimes. at this point, in this case, at least. :) then stayed over at peiwen's.. :) v enjoyable as usual, with yummy breakfast :D will be going to see some fireworks at the Rhein tonight, and tmr will be sending her off. am not especially optimistic or skeptical, but i hope a friendship built up over 8 mths will also last a long time. -nods-
