luxembourg & the mth ahead

whee :) as u can tell fr my previous happy posts i quite liked luxembourg :) its not spectacularly nice but its surprisingly pleasant and special in its own way. i.e. if you're looking for like paris or rome kinda spectacle then its not so stuffed full of world-renowned sights. but as a country i think its really interesting. e landscape, e pple, language and all that.

anw today i start my new class. last mth i had an exam which i passed with "gut Erfolg" which means good success hahaha and so i'm on to A7 class now which is part of Mittelstufe 2 which means the middle-level-2. :) ahhh hope to end in march. oh yeah this reminds me, i haf like 1.5 weeks more to decide on say, 3 unis, and to decide if i want to do a work attachment (where?! i dont know sigh) so i mus go and read all the info. basically what i've gathered is thus -

heidelberg is more famous as a university than e other 2. its using the credits system and allows students to choose non-related courses. konstanz is also using the credits system, but less choice for the non-bio/science courses. würzburg does well / the best in the rankings for bio, but does not use the credit system and does not allow students to choose other courses. mmm thats as much as i've gathered. senior at würzburg says e course is v rigorous & is really better than the other 2 (haha not sure how she knows :P) but argh i dont know when i'd be visiting the places. mus go and see if i like the cities first. -nods-

kay mth ahead looks gd. going to nürnberg this weekend, next weekend no plans yet (maybe going saarbrücken with another senior to visit Hadi heh), then following going to amsterdam to meet bun and yijin (YAYY :D) then the muchly anticipated austria trip :)

school wise - i mus resolve to work harder! havent bought the grammar book cos the cost puts me off but argh i mus think of sth. read more papers, listen to more news, talk more in class, do all the homework and more.

oh yeah i'm grossly overspending this mth (no thanks to the phone bill disaster but nvm i will not be so affected by that) so i better cut down nex mth :P going to watch a play/opera on wednesday! i haf no idea what it is jus bought the tickets cos its abt Hänsel & Gretel :)
